Soccer Days

Luke really wanted to play soccer this fall, so we put him in the College Station Soccer Club. He was on a 5 and under team, so most of the kids were a bit older than him. But, he ended up doing really well. At the beginning of the season, he was a little more passive and cautious. He was scared to go after a ball that seven other kids were kicking. But, he ended the season going after the ball in the middle of the pack of kids. We were so proud of him for that.

Here is his number one fan, insisting on his sunglasses being where they are:

Spending time with Daddy (Very Pregnant Mommy couldn't keep up with him!)

He was fascinated with this lady bug. Precious boy!

If you enlarge this pic, you can see Luke resting on his ball. He's such a little man!

This was the last game of the season. You can see him in the middle of the pack! Go Luke!

My mom was already in town, because this was the weekend before Noah was born. The coach was out of town for this game, so Greg had to help keep up with the team on the sideline. Nana & Jack soon stayed over there as well.

He is so precise. He loves to know right where he's supposed to be and follow all of the rules to stay there. Here he is standing right on the line where he was told to wait. I love it!

We got to know a family with three little boys. Jack became good buddies with Austin (shown below). They shared snacks, lollipops, and even brought toys for each other to play with.
Then, the end-of-season party was at Chucke Cheese. Luke had his class mascot, Max, that he was able to take with him.
Proud of my little soccer player!
