Rainy Day Fun

Texas had the hottest summer on record, and one of the worst droughts ever recorded. It has rained only a handful of times since we moved here eight months ago. So, when we had a rainy, cooler day in early October, we took advantage of it and PLAYED in it. People in cars passing by looked at us like we were crazy. We didn't care! We had a blast, and the boys still talk about it. Here are a few pictures from that fun rainy Saturday!

After we dried off, we came inside and had a movie day on pallets in the living room floor. So much fun! Then, the boys got to finger paint! FYI - if you ever finger paint with Jack, be prepared to clean up a huge mess! And, be prepared to have lots of fun!

It's not a complete rainy day without comfy matching jammies!
