While in California, we had to visit the beach. Twice, actually. My sister, Andrea, accompanied us on our first trip to Laguna Beach. It was a beautiful evening, and the waves were hard. Not really big, just hard. We had a great time.
Andrea and Greg showing the boys the waves:
Jack was instantly on top of the world. If you know anything about him, you know that he is extremely animated and intense - quite the comedian. He was going crazy each time a wave came in and literally had the entire beach looking at him and laughing.
He would plop down anticipating the wave coming toward him...
...and squeal/shake in delight as it hit him:
Our cautious little Luke was having a blast as well:
Burying each other in the sand:
Happy Jack:
And Happy Luke:
This is one of my favorite pictures of the two of them:
He got upset, I think because of sand in his eyes. He still looks stinkin cute, though!
Setting himself free:
Playtime after burying Daddy:
No words are really needed here:
Mommy getting some love:
Daddy getting some love:
Noah got some love, too!
I love this sweet boy!
A couple of days later, we all went to San Clemente, one of our new favorite beaches. The boys wanted to be buried again:
In case you wanted to see a belly shot (29 weeks at the time):
Two studs in the ocean:
Jack was fascinated with this piece of seaweed. My mom had the brilliant idea of using it as a tail. Needless to say, he had the entire beach laughing (again) as he strutted his stuff with his seaweed tail!
Playtime!
Seeing these photos makes me long to be back there soon! We are so blessed to visit family at such an amazing location!
