First Day of Pre-K

We were so blessed this year that God opened a door last minute for Luke to get into the preschool that we really wanted for Pre-K this year. He loves being there, and it's been a great way to make new friends here. I've also treasured these past couple of months when I get some priceless one-on-one time with Jack on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Back in September was his first day of school. We started the morning off with a healthy breakfast of scrambled eggs and blueberries.

A morning show while Mommy finished getting things ready. They were exceptionally sweet to each other this morning, which made it harder to leave Luke at school. Jack missed his buddy!
When we were all ready, we actually had time for a quick photo shoot outside before we left! Miracle!

Such sweet little buddies:

He is so stinkin' handsome!
This one melts Momma's heart:

Thumbs up for being all ready to go to Pre-K!
This one makes me laugh because it is so LUKE. We were in front of the school here, and he is so observant of everything going on around him. Didn't have time to look at the camera!

Luke had made his teachers a little sunshine craft since his class is called "The Sunbeams". Here he is walking into his class, giving his teacher the craft. I couldn't stay to take anymore pictures because I knew I'd get too emotional.
Although it has been difficult every Tuesday and Thursday dropping him off, we know that it is best for our family at least this year. Jack and I have been able to go to Kindermusik, run many errands and go on many little dates. Not to mention, we've done plenty of fun things at home. But, we do miss Big Brother LOTS!
