I think what Luke and Jack like to do most is DRIVE. Luke probably has over 100 matchbox cars/hotwheels. That was his potty-training reward toys about a year ago, and he also gets spoiled by his grandparents and uncles/aunts with them. Here is a recent picture that he took of them:
These are his favorite inside toys. If I had a nickel for every time I've heard, "Momma, will you play cars with me?", I'd be rich! We play parking lot, grocery store, mechanic, hospital, ice cream shop, Six Flags, color lines, neighborhood, park, airport...you get the picture. He loves these cars. (And Jack is starting to "vrooom!" with the cars, too!)
But, when we're not inside, their favorite place to be is on the driveway playing with...big cars.
Luke is starting to outgrow his little red and yellow car, but he doesn't care. He will get his tools and play mechanic with that thing for hours if we let him, pretending like something is broken, and "working" to fix it. I love his little imagination. Just last week, though, Luke learned how to pedal a tricycle by himself, so if he's anything like his daddy, he is entering a whole new season of boyhood...tricycles and BIKES! So fun!
Also, I had to throw in these sweet pictures of Jack driving Papa's golf cart on their farm. He loved this so much, that he cried every time it stopped. Another vehicle-fanatic!
By the way, I am having to turn on the comment moderator thing because I've been getting a LOT of annoying spam comments. Please keep leaving comments, though, and let me know if you know of any other way to prevent those annoying spam comments!
