Valentine's Day Party

Luke's preschool had a Valentine's Party. To be honest, we are at that stage of life where it's hard to get good pictures of them when it's just me. There always needs to be someone else to wrangle the boys while one of us takes pictures. What on earth will we do with three kids?! Ha!
I did manage to get a few shots.

Luke had a great time...

...as did his little brother! (I don't know why I love this picture of Jack so much! He's not used to that Capris Sun business. Yum!)
The kids apparently spent weeks on this picture frame project. They did it all themselves, and it took multiple steps. I love Luke's...it was so HIM!
Though these next four pictures are just plain terrible, I had to include them because they make me laugh so much. This is the result of me saying, "Hey, Luke, you and Jack both look so cute. Will you please go sit by him so that I can take your picture together?" Who would have thought that would be so hard?? Notice the progression of Jack becoming more and more unhappy.

Luke trying to hug Brother for the picture...

...Jack, not so cooperative.

...the "hug" becomes more of a choke.
"Luke, stop choking your brother."
Most definitely the highlight of the party was Jack walking around hugging every single person in the room. He owned that place. It was seriously cracking everybody up. He has a way of stealing the show wherever he goes.

Hugging Mrs. Wheeler, but his eyes are already set on his next hugger. Love this kid!
Greg and I aren't huge Valentine's fans...we feel that, again, it stems from our consumer-driven culture. So, we don't overdo it, but we do make it special for each other and our kiddos. We were just too busy to get any other pictures. Any special day to celebrate God's gift of love is worth celebrating!
