Jack was dealing with some awful diaper rash at the time, so we were trying to let him bare-bottom it as much as possible. It ended up being so bad that we were referred to a pediatric dermatologist. Even she was stumped as to what was definitely causing it. She thought it was probably a sensitivity to the chemicals in diapers. So, we temporarily switched to organic, dye-free diapers. That and a little steroid cream seemed to do the trick. Our boys have such sensitive skin!
Playing with Momo, in the buff, of course!
One thing they love about Great-Grandpa's house in Sulphur Springs is the "tractor". (Grandpa's riding lawn mower)
Uncle Jason met us there, which was a treat. My Aunt Sheryl lives down the street from Grandma & Grandpa, and her dog had puppies. This was the last puppy left after the others had been given away. It was so sweet, and the boys were CRAZY about him (maybe a little too crazy!)
A highlight of a Sulphur Springs visit is always feeding and petting the horses at the house behind them.
My grandma is so good with kids. She just knows what will interest them, and they love being around her. The fire was on, and she and Jack were feeling the heat together. "Hot!"
Aunt Leigh is pretty crazy about them, too! Here she is showing Jack a snow globe that played music. Fascinating!
It was a fun, family-filled weekend! So glad we took the time to visit!
