The Spectrum

One of our favorite places to go in California is The Irvine Spectrum. It's one of the first places I remember visiting when my parents first moved out there. There's something for the whole family to enjoy...it's a must every time we visit.

I know there are an insane amount of pictures. I just couldn't choose! I went with my family and the boys the first night we were there, and that's the night that Luke became sick on his way home with my parents (due to exposure to cashews, we found out...either from being around them at PF Changs or his food being cooked in the same area.) Because we were stuck at home the next day (we didn't know if it was a virus), we decided to take him back that evening, just to get some fresh air and get him out of the house.

Our first night...Aunt Nellie (Andrea), Nana, Bapa, the boys and I walked around, looked at the fountains, ate at PF Changs, then rode the carousel.

The next evening, my mom and I took the boys back to play in the "squirty fountains". They loved it! Then, we ate frozen yogurt; we were just trying to get Luke to eat anything. Jack threw a huge fit after the yogurt. HUGE. So, my mom took him outside, and he just walked up to strangers and begged for their yogurt, then threw a fit when we took him away from them. Hilarious. It's a good thing he's so cute.
