Not a bad place to spend your 3rd birthday, huh? On Luke's actual birthday, March 28th, we headed to Disneyland...just 20ish minutes from Nana & Bapa's house. This was the end of our trip there, so the boys were exhausted, not to mention Luke still not being 100% after his illness. But, we had a GREAT time, regardless, and were encouraged by our boys' adaptability despite their extreme exhaustion!
When we first got there, Nana took Luke to City Hall to get his "Happy Birthday, Luke" pin!

My mom took several pictures on her camera, too. These are just from my dad's camera. We rode some rides, ate lunch, rode a big double decker bus around the park (one of the highlights for Luke!), then met for Luke's birthday party! Uncle Billy & Christiane (his girlfriend) were supposed to meet us there, but Christiane got really sick the night before. We missed them and were sad they couldn't celebrate with us. Uncle Jason was in Arizona with some buddies for MLB Spring Training. But, Aunt Nellie (Andrea), her boyfriend, Jules, Nana, Bapa, Cousin Cynthia, and of course Mommy, Daddy and Jack were there to celebrate the big day!
Here is Andrea with the boys, keeping them cool and hydrated....such a good little "mommy"!

Sweet, tired Luke getting ready to go into his party.

Andrea & Jules celebrating! (Nice, Jules!)

This was the first time Jack was able to drink from a straw!

Watching Jack be a ham, of course.

Luke decorated his own birthday cake! The MC sure liked to pick on Greg and my dad! I guess they're easy targets!

Happy...I can tell he's still not feeling 100% looking at this picture.

Concentrating...

Minnie and Mickey came out and danced, played with the birthday kids. Then, we took some pics with them (which I think are on my mom's phone).

Minnie!

Yum!

Sweet little brother was a trooper!

Getting ready to ride the teacups!

Mommy was slightly dizzy. Luke had a blast!

Nana & Luke after a fun ride! (One that he still talks about!)

Jack finally gave in! He had a nice nap in the stroller!

Riding "It's a Small World" with Nana & Bapa. Both boys loved it, and it's the ride that Luke wanted to do over and over. This momma had "It's a Small World" in her head for weeks, it seems! (Now, I bet you do, too!)

This picture cracks me up! I think my dad meant to look goofy here. I think. I hope. :)

Luke was FASCINATED! I love to see his little face in awe of something.

They loved this scene -

I think Jack & Bapa look alike here.

What a great birthday...one he'll never forget! Thanks, Nana, for organizing it! We already can't wait to be back!
