Happy Birthday, Jason! My brother Jason turns 30 today! I can't believe it! For so long, Jason was the one that stayed in Texas with me while the rest of my family ventured to California. A couple of years ago, he joined them. I was so sad, but happy that God was leading him to a new place. He works with the high school ministry at Saddleback now, and I know he loves those kids.
Jason is such a great brother. He's always been so supportive of us. He also cracks me up, and he can kick my bootie at most card games. He's the guy that EVERYONE knows and loves. He is now such a good uncle to Luke. He came out when Luke was just a few weeks old, and he has been crazy about Luke since then. Pretty soon, I know that Luke will be learning to play baseball from Uncle Jason. When we were leaving California last month, Jason said, "I think Luke and I will be really good buds in a couple of years!" Jason, you're right. I'm thrilled that Luke has an uncle that he can have fun with and strive to be like one day.
