West Coast!

We were able to go to California for a visit in mid-August. We had a blast visiting family. There is never enough time to do all that you want to do there. But, we sure crammed a lot into the few days we were there. We didn't take as many pictures as we would have liked...it's hard to remember when you're chasing 2 kiddos around. But, we wanted to share some of our favorites of the pictures we did get. (Warning: MANY pictures ahead!)

Daddy and Jack at the park. California has the best parks and the best weather. Great combo!
Luke sliding

My blue-eyed buddy

Jack had enough of the park. Nana's arms are a good place to be!
Jack getting some Aunt Nellie love. (Aunt Andrea)

Daddy and Luke riding the tram into Disneyland. He was SO upset when this tram ride was over. Seriously, a major tantrum. He didn't realize that the tram ride wasn't even scratching the surface of the fun ahead of him!
L is for Luke!
A is for Alissa (or maybe achy back from that bundle of sweetness I'm carrying!)
Nana & Luke in line to meet Minnie Mouse
Hi, Minnie!
Luke is the type that gets really shy initially before warming up. But, he takes everything in, remembers every detail, and tells us about it over and over afterward.
"Momma, 'member when I take my picher with Minnie Mow-owse? 'Member dat, Momma? Dat was soooo fun!"
Uncle Jason loving on his nephew
Jack is really into "kisses" (wide-open mouth to the face with a handful of hair). We all benefited from his sweetness.
Luke watching the Disney Playhouse show. He loved it. He talked about every detail about it afterward.
Cute. Nana's favorite buddy.
Our family
Mema Langley meeting Jack for the first time.
She is SO good with the boys.
Papadaddy Langley meeting Jack

One of Jack's famous hair-grabbing kisses, for Nellie this time.

Nellie and her boys

Great pic with Mema & Papadaddy
Uncle Billy!
Uncle Jason!
I love this one with Nana & Bapa. Could there be any happier/more proud grandparents?
Daddy and Luke at Irvine Park. We had a picnic here, went to the zoo, rode a train around the park and played at the playground. It was such a neat, pretty area. Here is Daddy & Luke after they tried to chase down some peacocks.
Uncle Jason & Luke at the zoo.
Luke and the donkeys.

I love my husband!Nana kissing one of Luke's boo boos on his knee. I love this picture.

Our own little monkey.
Feeding the goats. Oh my gosh, he loved this. So many other kids were paying for food, but afraid to come close to the goats. Not my son, he just grabbed the leftover food off the ground and walked right up to them.
My Mema wears Converse. She's so hip and cute!
Luke was able to brush the goats. He thought his job was really important.

Jack found a friend. She liked him until he decided to play with her hair.

Luke walking with Uncle Jason.
Luke giving his train ticket to this cute conductor.
This is his "I'm-so-excited-I-don't-know-what-to-say-or-do" smirk. I know it well.

My favorite picture taken by the conductor. Love those happy faces!
I love the way Luke is admiring the conductor here.
Sweet.

wow, lots of pics... love them all! Hey, any advice for taking my baby boy to Disney??? Dave is running a marathon at Disney World in January... and we are all going as a family. How did you fare carrying him in your bjorn, or did you just stick with the stroller???
