Bunny Jack
Here is Luke in the same outfit at the same age. Do you see any similarities??
We had a great Easter. We woke up in the morning to Luke saying, "Prize! Bunny!". He had remembered that from us telling him that the Easter bunny was going to bring him a prize in the morning. He had a blast with his "bas-eck" (basket).
Jack entertained by Luke: Jellybeans before breakfast!?!?
Cute little bunnies:
Luke and Jack wore adorable matching Easter outfits. Would you believe that this busy momma didn't get ONE picture of them in their clothes? We were just trying to make it out the door for church! Greg told me that I could dress them up in those clothes again just for pictures.
At church, Danny's simple Easter message of "The Greatest Story ever Told" was incredible. It was rich with great reminders as well as new knowledge and application of Christ's resurrection. Praise the Lord that He endured the cross and defeated the grave! I pray that this story is what will make Easter so special for my boys in the future.
Daddy & Jack
We had lunch with Greg's parents and grandmother, then came home for a DIVINE Easter nap! Those are rare these days, so we thoroughly enjoyed it...all four of us! We then played outside and dyed Easter eggs. We were also able to talk to my entire family over Skype (webcam). They were all together for Easter, so this was the best we could do to being there with them. Luke loves this, and he talked about his conversation with them when he woke up Monday morning. So cute!
Talking to "Nellie" (Aunt Andrea)
Greg also read the boys the Easter story from the Bible. It has always been one of my favorite holidays, and having children makes it so much more special.
Finally, here are a few pictures of our neighborhood Easter egg hunt. I was not able to be there, but Greg took Luke and Jack. Momo an Papa met them there, as well as our dear friends, the Barret's. What a loved little boy to have his daddy, brother, grandparents, and friends all there to watch HIM hunt Easter eggs!
Luke immensely enjoying his chocolate. This is a rare treat for him. I love his face here. Bailey & Libby
Apparently, Luke was a little leery of the big bunny. He was brave for the picture, though. Here he is with brother and Momo.
