- your dimples.
- the way you bring a book to Daddy or my lap and hold your arms up for us to put you in our laps to read. You could read, read, read all day long.
- how you know that your pony goes with your pacifier at bedtime. If you have one, you have to have the other!
- that you are still an excellent twice-a-day napper!
- your sense of humor. You make us laugh all the time.
- how you imitate me or Daddy on anything we do.
- when you spin in circles and sing at the same time.
- how you bob up and down and "raise the roof" when you hear music.
- that you LOVE to eat!
- how every time the phone rings, you say, "DADA!"
- when you flirt with cashiers, fellow shoppers, visitors, ANYONE!
- that you wave backwards.
- that you are FEARLESS and will try anything.
- that you are so confident already.
- the fact that you tan so easily.
- your big brown eyes and long, dark eyelashes. You are a beautiful baby.
- that you sit in your chair whenever Elmo comes on.
- how you get a little testy without actually doing something wrong. You will put your finger about an inch from something you know not to touch, and then just walk away. Silly boy.
- that you know when to sign "I'm sorry"
- your independence.
- your dog noise "AHH! AHH! AHH! AHH!"
- the fact that you call the moon a "BAAA!" (ball)
- the fact that you call my eyes "BAAA!" (ball)
- the fact that you call your stuffed Elmo's nose "BAAA!" (ball)
- the fact that you call anything round "BAAA!" (ball) :)
- the way you babble so happily when you wake up. I could listen to you talk forever.
- how you chase us and let us chase you.
- that you sign for "more" when Daddy flips you.
- that you say "YAYA!" for any water that you see...ponds, drinking water, pools, puddles...
- when you say, "GUCKO" (yucko) when you see dirty diapers, the trash can, the toilet, or anything on the ground that shouldn't be there.
- that you learn things so quickly. It's almost scary how quickly you pick up on things.
- how you shove Pony's nose onto our lips to "kiss" whenever we're rocking you.
- that you enjoy going to your "early walkers" class at church. Maybe it's just because of the cookies.
- your laugh. It is so contagious. Sometimes you laugh so hard that you have to catch your breath.
- your strong will. You will be an excellent leader one day. (I keep telling myself that to get through this stage.) :)
- your fascination with buses right now. Our favorite word you say is "BUS!" so clearly. You often spot buses that Daddy and I haven't even seen yet. We might take a field trip to the bus barn soon.
- that you call all cars, trucks and tractors "CUCK!" (truck)
- when you pull up my shirt and point at my "beebee" (baby), which is actually my belly button. You look a little confused when I point out a real baby to you. You'll learn.
- when you lean in to kiss me and say "mmmmmm".
- YOU!! I am so blessed to be your mommy. God knew what he was doing when he made you, Luke.
