Melton latest

Here are a few things going on around the Melton house:

1. Greg started his new job at Smith Dental Care last Monday. He LOVES it. He enjoys the beautiful building he gets to work in, the people he's working with, and the professionalism of the office. I'm thrilled to see him so happy.

2. I am definitely pregnant and feeling it. I've definitely been sicker this time around. It's a joy knowing what the end result will be in 7 months, although it's tough for the time being.

3. Luke is an official walker. Last week, he just decided to walk all over the place. It's the cutest thing in the world seeing him toddle all over the house. I must say, he's pretty sturdy on those little feet.

4. I lost our cute little red camera. I loved that camera. I was taking pictures of Luke in his wagon before a walk. Then, I put the camera on the bumper of the rental car we had in the garage (my Tahoe was getting a new bumper). My intention was to get it on the way back inside. I forgot about it, and Greg returned the rental car later that day. I was so sad. I still look for that camera around our neighborhood.

5. As a result, we bought a new nicer camera. It already broke and is currently being sent to California to be repaired. Grrrr...I have missed so many photo opportunities.

6. Greg, Luke and I will be headed to Baltimore this Thursday for the Odyssey of the Mind World finals. I still help coach a team from All Saints that has made it to the world finals twice in a row! We will be visiting Washington DC as well. We are very excited, but a little apprehensive as to how I will be feeling on the trip.
Dr. C prescribed me some anti-nausea medicine, so we will see how that works.

7. June 5th, the day after we get back, my parents will be here for a few days to visit! Yay! We can't wait!

8. We're also looking for a good, easy-to-use video camera. Does anyone have any good suggestions?

9. We found out that another couple in our community group is pregnant. That makes 5 out of 10 of us expecting! These babies are due in June, July, September, December and January. Crazy! Also, our Dallas friends, the Boudreau's, are expecting in November, along with Greg's best friend Marshall! Something's definitely in the water.

10. My cute little 10-month-old nephew, Mack was dedicated on Sunday. It was so sweet. Also, his big sister Maddie graduated from preschool. They're getting so big!

Hope you all had a great Memorial Day and are enjoying the HOT weather!

I have lots of sympathy for those enduring pregnancy sickness...it can be so rough! Hope the prescription helps. My pregnancy was easier this last time (though not easy) thanks to a certain lovely anti-nausea medication. It made life better. But I am SO glad to hear that things are going well with the baby...it's a joy to pray for you and this little one!
