Our Little Cutie

Here are some new things that Luke is doing:

1. It seems like he is babbling through the alphabet. He's going from saying m's to b's to d's to w's to l's .

2. He definitely knows "dada" and recognizes who he is. He even said "dada" when he saw a meteorologist on tv with the same hairline as Greg. :)

3. He sucks in his breath, long and drawn out, while he makes a loud sound.

4. He is reaching for people to hold him. I LOVE this!

5. At Thanksgiving, he rode on his first mobile toy, a firetruck, while Momo pushed him. I wish I got a picture of his face, because he wasn't too sure about it.

6. He screams and arches his back when we make him do something he doesn't want to do.

7. He notices details on people's faces. Sometimes I feel like he is trying to pull my eyeball out, until I realized he is just noticing my eyelashes.

8. He LOVES being outside on the hammock. He just stares up at the trees and is so content.

9. He pulls up on my fingers.

10. He stays standing up when he's holding onto the ottoman.

11. He is getting a ton of hair now! I even brush it after his baths! When we take off a hat that he is wearing, it looks like he has a mohawk.

12. He knows that when Macie runs behind the couch, she'll come out on the other side. He sits and waits for it.

13. He laughs hysterically when I play "Giddy up, Luke, Go to town!"

14. He is slobbering so much that his face is chapped.

15. Anytime we drink from a cup or glass, he tries to grab it and drink from it.

16. His eyebrows show his emotions...happy, scared, upset, tired...we can tell from his eyebrows.

17. When he eats food he likes, he raises his eyebrows really high, smiles and says, "Mmmmmmmm!"

18. He's a jumping bean in his jumper.

19. He usually takes two 2-hour naps now, from 9-11ish and 2-4ish. Then he sleeps from about 7:30 until 6:30. Go Luke!

20. Something that isn't new...he continually steals our hearts with his dimpled smile, adorable personality and sweet cuddling.

He's so cute... he's such a good mix of you and greg. I can totally see his hair coming in!
